I find Ciara to be inspirational. To walk away from the father of your child shortly after giving birth any mother understands, is a mountain you have moved; and I know that she must have been experiencing tremendous distress to have made such a drastic decision when her child was less than 2 months old. Thank God that she had the covering of her her father and family.
Just the fact that her son was less than 2 months old when she moved on…. that's pain, that's determination to survive the clutches of somebody who wants to control and use your child as your shackles. I love her grace, because we as mothers of children with fathers who were incapable of loving us, have to stay focused on the best interest of the child; and like Ciara said, children grow and they will read and they will see things on television and hear things and it's not her desire that her child would hear anything negative from her own lips about his father but that he will come to know who he is through his own experience. God is blessing you Ciara, and is using you to inspire others who are in life draining relationships to have the courage to move forward. May you continue to be blessed, to thrive and soar.
