Such an inspiration! ?? I had my own trauma last year and I can relate to the fact there is a period when you want to go back and change what happened and when you accept you can’t then you can move on. Don’t get me wrong I’ve had the mental blocks that hold me back. But when you identify that when life gives us challenges, it’s up to us how we overcome them and I’m like you I know I must keep going, for my children! Don’t get me wrong I’ve had my down days but they drive and push me forward. But Well done though and thank you for sharing your story …. I have so much respect for you????????

Family. The one thing that keeps vets like us from killing ourselves is Family. A person or persons to live for makes all the difference. I have NONE of that, so I'm not moved, and my gun is still pointed at my temple. I'm just pressing harder now, as I failed at everything that made this guy survive.
Oh, and the medic in SPR freaked because he KNEW he was dead already. This guy had NO SUCH KNOWLEDGE.
