What can a person do to become E2 or E3 in boot camp; also if a person can't rank up in boot camp how can they rank up in their field?

Keep these detailed type of finance videos coming–this is a key area that is woefully lacking in YouTube military information videos, yet is needed SO much. If you include real life monthly personal budget info in saving & investments (TSP & taxable); housing, food & transportation expenses; credit card & loan repayments; and savings for emergency fund and future goals (house, new car, engagement ring, travel, etc) that would be awesome and extremely helpful to all service members.

Hello, I'm 16 and plan to join the military I'm currently a SSGT In AFJROTC. I'm not sure what branch I should be looking into I've seen all aspects these branches but still come out unsure as to which one I should enlist too. Any recommendations?

The sad thing is when I use to do armed security he makes almost twice the amount I made……Definitely makes you wonder about the economy.
It's such shit pay. But I guess for a 18 yo it's not bad. I could make 2.5x that as a cdl class A truck driver at my age of 23

That's it? Damn… was expecting better pay than that. I get more with my "civilian" job. And benefits aren't bad at all here here either. Planning on joining but I haven't been seen any upside to it so far…. making this decision very hard
