I'm shocked to learn now what was actually going on behind the scenes… ☹️behind that sunny smile there was a lot of pain and sadness of a young boy who just wanted to be himself and do what makes him feel happy… I have to admit that it kinda changes how i feel about the HA movie, now that we know he was actually suffering while filming it…and it kinda takes away the innocence that that movie had in my eyes…. Yeah we got to watch Home Alone which was and still is an amazing movie,and we got to fall in love with Macaulay,but on the other hand,it makes me feel really sad, because in order to entertain us,he had to pay a high price… little did we know that he was struggling at that time and was going through an abuse (!) That probably caused him a major crisis inside,and no one even knew about it…. this brings tears to my eyes….no wonder he left showbiz… I can only imagine what it was like for him as a 10 years old to go through this deep frustrations and pain without having the ability to reject the things that were hard for him,smh.
I just want to say to Macaulay, you've been through such a hard time for a ten year's old,and you still managed to do things right and not break down, that's unbelievable and says a lot about you?and about your inner strength and character. i don't know many kids in your age who could have gone through this kind of pressure and stress, and still function right,not Even adults…
