I wish I had my mentality and pain that I have now back when I was in sports. I was a freshman track star, just fractured my spine 6-7 months before that but I pushed through it. Started to become the face of the track team, had d1 all over me. Went into sophomore year, practiced 3 days and quit. I let what was going on at home pull me away from what I was doing great at. By senior year my family fell through and I was living on my own working full time 60-70 hours and still doing highschool online when I got home. I graduated earlier then my whole class. Now I’m fighting myself everyday on what is calling me to greatness I’m getting the call but I’m not getting any info out of it. I see my mom struggle, I see what I grew up from, and I know with the way I pushed through I will make it because I will not give up until I can’t breathe. I will push to make it to where I want in my life and until I get there I will not stop and I will do whatever it takes to make my life and my mother and my sisters life’s better because those are the people who matter to me most and who motivate me the most.
Today is my birthday and not a single person wished me not even my own family. I felt so sad at first, then I realized that I don't need other people's confirmation or recognition for being happy on my own birthday. So I made my self a cake and blew the candle alone. ?
Here’s a sure bet: the least likely successful is the Man who hath not failed many times
