What hurt is getting abused and watching my mother abused verbally and physically for 16 years and my dad leaving at the age of 12 to another state leaving me with all this, what hurt is having to raise myself and teach myself how to be a person cause my mom was too busy supporting me and fighting her ex every night and still the worst pain of it all came recently when my girlfriend I thought would never leave me, made me believe so many things I thought I never would. She lived with me for 6+ years since I was 16 and one day she wakes up and says she leaving and throws me away like I was nothing…. I mindlessly push on lost and alone through the pain but I’m so tired and don’t even know who I am anymore.

My Mother use to literally sit on the edge of her bed crying, saying she thought she was dying and there was nothing my brother and I could do, that hit home cuz that is one reason I know I need to keep going, I don't want to be her
