  1. I think she is talking about a form of meditation, that corresponds to Ekhart's teachings. To be more present, a good practice is to "inhibit your body so to speak – to focus your attention inside (in your body). Feel your feet, feel your breathing, feel your legs on the car seat, etc. This draws a lot of your attention and therefore usually allows thinking to subside. It works, honestly. Do it to get myself to stay present. Plus, if feels good – you feel like your hugging yourself lol

  2. The possible "danger" present is more in the identification from the listener not the messenger or the message. To say "his" teachings becoming distorted due to someone else other than him sharing it, seems a clear form of resistance and identification and lack of understanding of the actual message.

    Will the message become valid if Kim Eng is listed as his spouse? Will this fact ease the "distortion"? Does it matter who is delivering the message or is the message itself what's important?

This thing of making it a habit to return to self-awareness of what is going in in your body and soul – makes the difference between (years down the line) staying ok or moving into a high blood pressure condition or a anxiety disorder condition, or an in extreme cases of having a heart attack or a nervous breakdown… (G-d forbid…)
