Experience the power of stillness and silence – being, not doing.
ASMR can be addiction, and for some vulnerable people this community is vile, trust me worst year of our lives been part of this manipulative vile predator community
So discipline? Not a new concept dude.
Self regulation naturally grows during a successful pursuit of greater mental health
Thats funny because the Stoics and Spartans already knew this
One of my favorite guests on The Joe Rogan Podcast.
We’re blessed Mr. Huberman shares his knowledge with us. Same with Jordan Peterson. ??

He just blazed by the last part about sleep. I never heard that you deal with emotional issues during the last half of sleep. This is important. If you don't get enough sleep, you never can resolve your emotional issues, and that is a huge problem. Sleep is so important.

Perfect example of why I don't use social media.
You mean like an animal in a zoo?
In other words,

get out of Facebook

Interesting. I don’t look at my phone until usually in the afternoon (not by choice) and usually have the weight of the world on my mind when I first wake in the morning.
Pleasure without prior pursuit is what ruins us.

Other then quickly checking the time, we recently applied the 'no devices in the morning' policy and have noticed significant improvements in our memory, especially important tasks from the previous busy day. Thanks again for this awesome content.
Delayed pleasure makes a smaller amount of pleasure more enjoyable than constant pleasure. We all kind of know this innately but bad habits die slow.
So your waking up and not looking at your phone to process what you were looking at on your phone the night before
I wake up and the first thing I do is watch this video. My day is done…..
I don't own a mobile phone, I'm writing this on a tablet and I never go on my tablet in the morning, in the summer I can go all day without it and have better things to do with my time like my passions which is looking after my dog and gardening, I go camping often and spend days out in nature with no phone, the natural world has all the entertainment we could ever need
is he speaking in a cave?
It's so important to get the important things done in the morning right away. It really sets the tone for my day. Productivity is a great way to live full out!
Couldn't watch the whole thing because the captions were too distracting. Giving a thumbs down for this. Youtube literally has a feature to turn on or off captions. It's redundant to put them in your videos.
Interesting. I have deleted all my social media for about 9 years now and I love it
I have dopamin deficit and are used to watch tiktok in the morning, I stopped for one week and got sick vomitted etc after 8 days, dopamin detox can be dangerouse if you have ADHD etc
