A course in Miracles is very complicated, it doesn't sound anything like Jesus. Jesus' words in the Bible are very simple, always to the point and very authoritative. He said, "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life." He also said; "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." That is all that is needed.
The truth will make you free.
Cool.
It's not easy to know when to leave the course, or not to leave it.

Jesus clearly means to remain alert, remain awake in the garden, The mantra need not be repetitive . Once present always presence you know without words when to let go, or act on a situation. I experience this when I am present. No thinking " Presence " You need not ask questions going into the raising your level of consciousness. For the clarity of your mind is enough, don't expect anything but except what you feel. While I am present I don 't hear a specific language it is just a knowing and it is really clear. Be present before you enter the garden and you won't fall asleep but you will be alert, conscious. I tell myself be present on my way to the store, and you know you feel like nothing can touch you. It is like a shield and it is such little step with big results. You just have to keep being there.
Nothing will touch in presents and the raised level of consciousness will set you free above thinking. This is not something you can rap your head around, don't try , that's the path you don't want to follow.
ACIM was channeled and one should always question what entity one is channeling. Also the woman who did the channeling did not adhere to the teachings, that should make one question things…

ACIM says the world is not real. Unfortunately that’s a serious yet forgivable error. It is never the less the biggest error in a course of miracles. The reason is that “there is only the Real”. It is just that “it isn’t really good to be alone” (Genesis 2:18) which is why “the meaning of life is really love”. Let me put it differently. If there is only God then how could there be anything but God. To deny that there is anything but God is not getting it. I suggest mystic Christianity or tantra instead of this not-real nonsense.

The Course is definitely not only to be used for upset, it is much, much more; it is a journey. A Course in Miracles is a masterpiece and a life-long commitment to finding the way Home.
