  1. As you've practiced with Eckhart and explored moving beyond thought, you've most likely experienced small glimpses of Presence. What do you notice about the moments in which you rise above egoic thought? Is there a particular practice or perspective that helped you touch into Presence?

  2. Thinking and being can come together. They aren't irreconcilable.
    Most of our doing is thinking!
    Only being can recognize being.

  4. You don't need to sit still to find stillness.
    Presence in stillness is a good practice.

    Be in stillness or consciousness, and then do or think. Light of consciousness comes through your doing. Being and doing are one. Doing is no longer means to an end.

  5. Presence of presence…… working with animals brings this on. Dogs, horses even the small pet rats give always opportunity to be in presence as with animals to be with them requires presence.

    The purpose of the universe is to bring out more consciousness into this dimension.
    And the big question of ur life is:
    Am I'm aligned with the purpose of the universe?
    Am I a bringer of light?

When Eckharts team decided to switch indian retreat to norway I asked for refund because cant afford a flight and hotel(Norway is expensive!) and they were about to ask additional money for already paid meal. Now I found out I could manage to save by the time of retreat and just wondering what an idiot I am.

  8. I want to know Eckhart Tolle's revealation for his meat-eating — i was really loving his teachings , until I came accross his declaration that he eats meat.

    Has compassion for other sentient beings, no place in his teachings???

    I wonder now what kind of concious beings / new earth was he talking of? xD

  9. You don't need to be still to be present, but you can never be as present while moving then when you're still. There's a reason why meditation is practiced this way.

  10. The way he pauses every time he says a phrase let you know that he’s really gathering information from a source greater than himself or any of us. But he’s expressing how we can do the same. We are connected to the same source

  11. I think people do have goals at 95. They may not be as long term as an younger person's, but it's relative . Living until 100 might be a goal of sone 95 year-olds. For others, goals might be shorter term like taking a walk around the block every morning, or painting a picture, quilting a blanket.or finishing a memoir. Or even just getting out of bed,, or straightening the house, or taking in the sun..

  12. Thank you so much Mr. Tolle. Your being and words and the space between them feel so so rescuing for my soul and troubled mind. Especially this morning as I am preparing myself to return to my job at the supermarket after being absent for almost three months due to an operation. Fear is somewhere there inside me. I wish I could get rid of it. Practicing presence is the key. I have learned that from you and your life-changing book "For a new Earth". I shall read it again. One phrase in it truly illuminated and opened the path within me to begin understanding the true depth of my religion. And that was amazing. Watching and listening to your video today truly made me feel like printing a message to you filled with love. Thank you. Be well. ???❤❤❤

  13. What Eckhart thinks about psychology? I want to speak to someone but i will have to talk about past for understand who i am so i will not be in the present, did he already talk about that? Even if i am in the "now" i think i could be better if i understand and fix my mentals problems.

  14. I am practicing to be in present moments for around 3 to 4 months but I fell more afraid and anxious all the time why is this ? It’s normal or anything wrong?
