  1. I honestly hate the word “expert” I’ve seen others use it freely and I always found myself irritated by it because it is limiting and you’re pigeon holing yourself into a box. When the fact is that in any given field there is constant evolvement and learning involved so I never wanted to perceive myself as an expert but rather someone who is open to constantly learning and growing.

  2. Enthusiast…recently ran into an old friend working at a bar who recognized me as an automotive and motivational Enthusiast from the small amount of content I've executed on Instagram/Facebook/YouTube…and that changed my perspective ?

  3. Bro I made a video about statics and opinion manipulation, right at the beginning I engage the audience by saying: I am not a statesman but I want you to understand this…

  4. Yes love this. I got stuck on this when I was younger just starting out. I stopped thinking like that and just started doing and learning and now my clients consider me one because I got enthusiastic about it.

  5. The process. To get on with it, ignore the boo’s, flipside, don’t get high on the praises. Take on board constructive criticism. Fail, fail, fail, achieve…

  6. Warning … He is playing with Semantics. (Juggling the meaning of words.)

His word "enthusiast" IS the same as Earl Nightingale's method, which could be termed "fake it 'till you make it". Earl advises: Develop a mental image of the kind of person you want to be (become). Then act and talk as that person would. It causes your own mind to re-adjust, and settle into a new "rut" (habit). Gradually you DO grow into that envisioned new self.

Yes, Gary is correct that ultimately, other people (your target customer audience) must come to see and acknowledge you as the new you. Or they won't act (buy). BUT, it still Starts with YOU believing in yourself BEFORE anyone else will accept that new persona you wish to develop.
