If you’re broke, keep your head up. I know it’s tough to face this situation in life, especially when you still have dreams you’re trying to pursue and goals you want to accomplish. When the bank account reflects hopelessness, that’s a difficult place to be. I’ve certainly been there.

There’s a way out, though. Here are 5 steps to take when you’re broke:

1. Don’t Lie.
2. Take immediate action.
3. Ask for Help.
4. Save 10% to 20% now.
5. Retool.

  1. 2:04 really you could have started better I am not staying around you even if you have better advice I give you one short go to jail if you don't have any other choice try to do a small crime incase you don't like it and prefer a different method don't trust me I still haven't had to be in that position but I have a plan in case of this type of issue.

  2. I am here now…. Lost everything in my divorce I just finalized, had to quit my job to move where my kids and ex moved to see them.. I went from a good 6 figure income to now literally broke. $0. I have no idea what to do now. My career doesn’t really work where I am. I am a high end sales guy with a great resume and am totally lost. I needed this video

  3. This comment Is For The Person Who Feels Like It is Obvious what to do but he's not able to do it anyway.. he doesn't Know What's The Real Key To Make An Idea Into a reality.. and that action is just too negative to get into because there's so much hopelessness.. i want you to find freedom because I've been there too and yes the Answer Isn't to just do things. Doing Will Never Happen unless you Change The Self Identity you've Taken.. I Will Offer you The Golden Insight: Even If You're not Doing The Action.. Have Grit To Keep Saying The Name Or The Quality Of The Person You Aspire To live his life and be like.. Like "brendon" for example. If you keep this Thought going through your head as a reminder to engage the present moment like that person while doing everything and anything it'll bring you back into The present moment and you'll do what you want the way you want.. even if it doesn't work for the first week keep saying it until it starts building up an internal Identity within you. Of course be yourself.. but Also don't dis-attach from your role model

  5. This is a very timely and to-the-point for me at this point in my life. It helped me acknowledge and recognize where I am now even though that's hard to admit, and offered some helpful strategies for dealing with this, so thank you very much — especially for speaking so directly including about your own struggles, which makes your message even more convincing and relevant.

  6. If I can add one more thing: Take care of your health. There is points in my life where I couldn't work because I got waay too exhausted too fast. Of course lack of hours lead to living next to nothing or being in debt all the sudden. I threw in the towel and just started to cut out bad stuff like sodas, fast food, etc, and got my feet to exercise more. It took months before my body started to feel better; but boy it makes a night and day difference in having energy to do any typical job.

  7. This was one of the most touching things I've heard today, I'm going through A LOT of personal issues that revolve around past decisions, past money decisions, past life decisions…. etc. The way you speak makes me want to believe in myself, so THANK YOU!
