  2. So what do you think about people like Nicola TESLa, Kafka, Freud – and all the rest of those intellectuals?
    What do you think about the men who invented the field of psychology, psychiatry, astro physics: & quantum physics – which now we know is all collapsing bc it was built on imagination ?
    > And more importantly; how does. Eckhart feel as a man – that all the great thoughts that were brought down through the ages – came from MEN ?
    > To this very day –
    When all the great thinkers & talkers are making millions off of books & tapes, & seminars – telling other people why their lives are a mess ?
    > What are your thoughts on that Meister Eckhart ? I wonder ???

  3. Have noticed myself starring into nothing in particular and not having any thought. It used to happen before I heard about not thinking on rare occasions. Now it happens often. I'm not sure why it happens or if I benefit from it. I sort of become hypnotised and lose time for a few minutes. Cant say I feel much benefit but maybe its a side effect of my awakening.

Everything is addictive,every single thing if you can’t control the way you are consuming it.Subconscious mind doesn’t discriminate.On the other hand,we don’t think (most of the time) thoughts are happening to us.Once we reach higher level of consciousness,that’s when we take control of our thoughts and emotions,action and reaction.

  5. Thinking can be either fun or frightening, wonderful or worrying, fantastic or fearful it all depends on who's doing the thinking us or our minds. What is thinking? Its nothing but imagining something that doesn't exist. We use our imagination to create images of ourselves on a lovely beach enjoying a wonderful holiday and our minds use our imagination to create problems fears and worries for us to think about. We have a choice, its our free will to use our imagination ourselves or allow our minds to use it for us, but using our free will is a skill and like all skills it takes time and practice to become easy and natural to do, like riding a bike, driving a car or playing a sport or game, the more we think for ourselves and pay no attention to our minds imaginary stories the better we become at it doing and a new happy peaceful habit is developed replacing the old unhappy chaotic habit of allowing our minds to run our lives and imaginations, whoever controls the imagination gets to choose the story ????

  6. Actually, today I hace remembered what I used to do A LOT as a teenager: It was imaginating bad things por stories and dramas, so I could think more. That was the purpose, to make my imaginary world bigger, even if I had to suffer. So crazy ? haha.

  7. Yep I recognized that in myself years ago and I personally believe that if you don’t learn to quiet your mind and understand why you need to quiet it that it will most likely lead to dementia. I don’t believe in accidents and the numbers of dementia in both young and old is continually rising. I work in a health care facility and the first hand experience I have had with these people over decades seems to fit my belief.

From where I'm sitting, the brain never stops "thinking", most of our thoughts are actually happening in the background, without us being aware of them, and there's not really a way to turn these things off, constant thinking, is what allowed us to survive, while other species around us went extinct, we benefit having a brain that works around the clock, even if it is inconvenient to think certain thoughts, My Two Cents!

  9. From my point of view thinking (language and calculating) are tool. By learning to use it it can be, in one mind, endless possibilities for create happiness well being responsibly for oneself and everybody else and you can generate every feelings emotions you ever had and plan your wishes for time ahead.

    Don’t pray to God or ask a Guru to fix some wrongs…. Pray for your own conscious awareness and realise nothing needs fixing ✨???

    Whatever it is you're addicted to, forgive yourself for it, your experiences have wired your brain that way. It's not a character flaw, it's a coping mechanism, it was learned, it can be unlearned, but only if you give yourself a break and shed your shame of succumbing to it. Accept yourself.. Peace to you ☮️☯️?️

  14. This is so true. First I got rid of negative thoughts and daydreams. Thought I was done.
    Now, years later I've begun to get rid of the chatter (even though it is positive chatter).
    This is NOT easy. Creating a new pathway in the brain after a lifetime of using a diffront pathway… Thoughts want to follow that wide already carved out path. I have to make it not go that way.
    I've found that there are two types of thinking, escapism, and actual thoughts that apply and are relevant to the moment. I allow myself one kind, but not the other.
    I can tell this is going to take some time for it to become a habit.
