  1. I tell people this all the time. I've left jobs because it affected my sleep. Have been called lazy because of it but mate im happier and better mentally thannive ever been

  2. I didn’t see this in the comments. The video says, “[Healthcare is] increasing life spans.” In America, the life span is decreasing from a mixture of mental health, prescription drugs, and political (mainly conservative) influences.

  3. Sleep is important but tribal people usually don’t do nap and sleep more than 6-8h.
They use fire to go to bed around 10 and wakeup around 5 AM

  4. 99.9% of human history was spent with no lights….no electricity…..
Humans went to sleep when the sun went down. Your brain and body still needs this..

  5. More than anything I would have loved to be explained about how weed affects sleep as the narrator did with alcohol. But other than that a great and informative video, I did know most of the things but I also learned 1 or 2 new things as well so thank you.

  6. i work in shifts. i cant get used to night shifts. although i am doing it for last 13 years. weight gain, hair loss, week eyesight, week bones and low immunity is what it got me. workwise i dont have much options from where i am.or where i live

  7. This video is already on the channel, from Sept 2020. Sleep is important but again, it's not the cause of "all our problems" and there are meta-analyses that contradict the hasty all-encompassing conclusions of the author that "less sleep equals shorter life".

  8. I am a strong advocate of the importance of sleep and time off task, but I am also guilty of subscribing to the mantra ‘I’ll get enough sleep when I’m dead’. The duality of the modern age.
