Speaker: Josiah Ruff

“The 5 most common regrets of the dying were:
Number 1: I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
Number 2: I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.
Number 3: I wish I had the courage to express my feelings.
Number 4: I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
Number 5: I wish I had let myself be happier.”

  2. Literally being negative takes up time. Real time. Minutes, hours, days, years. You only have so much time on earth. Stop being negative. Because it's just gonna take that much longer to be positive. Choose positivity now.

  3. I'm 25. When i was in high school, i would sit in the library researching college and what an amazing thing it would be to study the Classics and linguistics. I was told by my mother she would not finance my college or help pay for it. Growing up in rural Mississippi, even though parents made great money, the thought of being told to relegate my life to welding for a scholarship was unsettling. But thats all she was willing to help finance.

Today, I travel across the United States for well over what some mid-career software engineers make, but despite all the money, I regret never finding a way to chase my dream. Monsy will not give you happiness. Take it from someone who once thought it was the key to my personal fulfillment.

Don't let your parents dictate your life or listen to what they think will bring you fulfillment. If you know what your passion is, and you happen to be one of the few who knows your calling, let nothing stop you.

Do not let relationships or other connections relegate you to a life of misery. Fail, try again, fail, then you will approach success. But dont let life pass you by always wishing you could do the thing you loved most. If you find sometime later that what you wanted wasnt, indeed, for you, at least thats part of your life you will not regret. If you never try for that goal, you will eternally regret not knowing if you would enjoy it or not.

Lead a life of action and take calculated risks. Life is too short to think about missed opportunities.

  4. I expressed myself my feelings and my supervisor said you should not always tell your feelings and what you think. Which doesn't make sense because I only open up when I needed to and NOT ALWAYS.

Worst people to be around with are prideful people that doesnt hear your emotions but wants their words to be heard at the top of the stack

  5. "I am the way, the Truth and the life"- Jesus said, whoever believes in him will be saved, because God so loved the world that gave him, Jesus, as a perfect sacrifice for our sins, because we all are imperfect and sinners, and cannot enter to Heaven by our goodness. That's why Jesus, long promised Messiah and external God came to us and he bore our sins, iniquities and transgrettions and infirmities on himself and died on our behalf for us, redeeming us from curse(Galatians 2:13) so that we in him will live as forgiven, redeemed, atoned for, sanctified and cleansed children of God in his love and family, in Heaven where there is no death, no grief, no evil – but all the highest good which spiritual people desire. Just believe, repent and confess to God that you are a sinner and he is faithful to forgive you, all the work of salvation is done by Jesus, just accept it… and live the eternal life in God's love))))
Jesus is the Messiah of Israel and the true Lord of the world who will come and reign.

  6. This is what I tell my subscribers. Fact is that most will die with regret of things they didn't do versus the things they did that were failures. Failure is far less painful than than the pain of never trying at all. Trust me on this as a former skilled nursing home provider. Everyone in their last days said the same thing–how all they did was pay bills, how they never wrote that book or saw Nepal. I can tell you that I have had massive failures of things attempted that just weren't meant to be. But I have minimal regret because I DID attempt them. And that is the key to having minimal regret in life. Everyone has regrets but they should be small. If you pursue everything you dream about–failure or not you will have a sense of at least giving it a best shot. That's the secret. Hope this helps—Charles

  7. I wish I could love myself!

Had I love myself my entire life would have been different. I wouldn't have lived with a man who hates me. My children would experience love and grow up with self esteem. Feeling good enough about themselves. They would not struggle with suicidal thoughts. How horrible a life growing up feeling unloved, unworthy, unintelligent. You live in misery with depression, anxiety self harm, self hate and the cycle continues passing on from parents to children. If only we could love ourselves enough. The world would be a beautiful place.
Your whole life path is different with self love.

  8. Please be kind in the comments here instead of The few braggers who are elevating themselves instead of humbly being quiet while others suffering with true human regret try to work through that part of their maturity

  9. NEVER prioritize money: worst advice ever. Of course who's dying doesn't care., but if you end up with no money around half of your life? Priorities changes with times – priorities of dying people are clearing different from people in their 20, 30, 40….

  10. "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.
Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire." (REVELATION 20:12-15 NKJV)

Today, while you are still alive and able, may you repent from your sins, believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that JESUS CHRIST is your Lord and Savior, so that through Him, your name will be written in the Book of Life.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." (JOHN 3:16-17 NKJV)

✝️ By God's GRACE, the gift of Salvation and Eternal Life is available to all. You can RECEIVE it. You can REJECT it. May you choose wisely…
