  1. This is very liberating for sure. This “manifesting” extravaganza has really turned people to become desperate, the irony of wanting. It really do put you in a position where you put everything in the pedestal other the your own consciousness. Its true that the manifesting comes second. When it becomes the priority, you’d actually lose yourself. And the paradox is, you wont manifest the things you want anyway, or even if you do, it reacts more dissatisfaction.

  2. ?️why do people depend on others for accomplishments and happiness in life?why do people avoid hard work then complain about their own accomplishments and happiness? Maybe they don't really want to accomplish anything and maybe they just like and enjoy being unhappy.?

  3. I'm enjoying and appreciating the general focus on presence.

    I don't think that a lot of what is referred to as transcendence is or can be transcendent or that our ego is appreciated as a necessity to be human in circles such as Eckhart's. The very fact that so many people find Eckhard's ideas, workshops and videos to add value to their lives in terms of increased happiness, speaks to the value of having money, buying cars that take us to workshops and buying books and screens that help us watch youtube videos.

    I have also found that spending time in Thailand increases my happiness 300% relative to the U.S. very consistently – a statistic that proved true for most of the people I interviewed to find out if my experience was unique. My happiness has increased 30% by having a dog and playing with him several times a day. My happiness has increased 10% sometimes when I watch Eckhart and reflect on his ideas. This suggests to me that a dog is more effective.

    I'm curious how many people in the world have gained Eckhart's level of awakening – the kind that can make leaf blowers part of one's meditation with joy easily, rather than attempting to do so and being inspired that it can be done? I've never found that people in "spiritual circles" are easier to do deal with than anyone else in practical terms. However, in verbal terms they are usually far more difficult because now their irritating behavior is because their "higher self" guided them to do it and they don't want to do something "because it's not the right time" or "was not meant to be." It's far easier to deal with "I feel uncomfortable doing something new and so I don't want to do it" or "my TV show is on so I'll agree when it's over."

    Byron Katie and Eckhart have this level of acceptance up to a point. I was talking with Byron and she interrupted me to defend a point she had made in one of her books, which seems like normal behavior, rather than someone who questions their beliefs. I also notice that I'm more open to this type of work now that I have more savings, investments and a beautiful home than I was some years back when I was terrified I would have no money and end up homeless in a culture that shames it's homeless.

    In short, I think our ego and witness are a team and of equal importance as long as we are physical – which we all are if we are watching this video. I think there is an intelligent hierarchy of needs, beginning with survival – which in a capitalist culture takes money and a host of things required to make the money. I think that focusing on presence happens naturally when money plateau's in it's impact on happiness – which usually happens by the point an American has $150k a year. The joy of a first car, music, going out to eat for the first time and beautiful cut flowers does not usually double when we get the second car and may barely move by the time we have to take care of 100 cars.

    So inner meditation is far more affective at well-being than money at some point. However, I'm finding that forming a non-profit, donating money to it and figuring out how to help the most people with that money has suddenly made money incredibly important to my happiness again. I just bought two dogs for two traumatized children and am enjoying the healing effect, which I predicted based on how healing my own dog was for my insecure attachment template. It gives me enormous joy to think of doing more of this work – and of orchestrating a healing community designed based on research on well-being that most people can afford to live in. That gives me even more joy than meditation, because I know from experience what a difference that would have made in my childhood and I want to see children growing up in a safe and beautiful environment along these lines.

    Who is excited about making more money so I can give more away and donating more of my time to make these things happen? My ego and my self. Probably more my ego, since my witness is happy about everything. However, my ego is disgusted with many things, such as childhood abuse, and does not enjoy living in a world where it is chronic. The reality is that doing something to stop the abuse of two of my wife's relatives and helping two children I barely now with things that cost money is the happiest thing in my life. My plans – in the future – to do a lot more of this – bring me the greatest happiness right now.

    I wonder where the space is in Eckhart's paradigm for the reality of my joy from money, things and dogs designed by my ego in these areas? I think I can learn more and benefit from presence and meditation. I hope that Eckhart is also able to learn from data and that more science is done in these areas. There are so many teachers saying "this is the way it is" (all disagreeing with each other) and so few studies showing actual results from questioning 1000 people who each do different things about the results:
    * Follow Eckhart
    * Follow Byron
    * Start a non-profit
    * Make more money
    * Go on more vacations
    * Live in different countries
    * Buy a dog
    * Go for a 1 hour hike a day
    * Take sauna's 3 hours a week

    I'd love for a study to be done comparing these things. It's one of the things an app I'm creating for the non-profit will measure as meta-data so that for the first time we can see probability fields for increased levels of well-being corelated with a host of life choices over time.

  4. I love this human being and enjoy reading all the comments, so true. He has helped me evolve so much.He is our little Buddha!!
    ADORABLE ❤️??❤️??❤️??

  5. My preference is to live in a relatively secluded desert like location with a sizable dome home complete with support, holding my entertainment items for my ego. And to have a place to create art, thru the guidance of consciousness, re-experiencing the unbounded joy of creation adding to the universe. Obviously certain tools and resources will be made available to manifest these preference. And so it shall be done, NOW.

  6. manifestation thik hai lekin ye bahut hi khoobsurati se aur chaturayi se Hindu Dharm ke concepts jejus ke naam par bechana shuru kar chuke hai and now those who he is addressing to are no longer sinner but divine being themselves and that divinity lies in them deep within themselves, kya baat hai thik hai kam se kam inko pata to chal gaya ki wo spureme being inke ander hi vidhyaman hai kahi kisi asaman par hi male form me hi nahi baitha hai aur ye sab sinners nahi hai ,good for them and good for world around too who avoid their torture in the process to submit before so called Jesus,the so called son of GOD
