13 principles that spoke to me the most this year from The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida, the only book I reread every year.

What about WOMEN what should we read? ???
Whaaaaa? Some food advice and some bushist mumbo jumbo
So how do you find your 'purpose'? The day someone will tell me that, and it works, I'll believe them.
Hell… this sails true even more for every woman!!( because women have been supressed( in sooo many ways more than a man has- ever been— and they have always had to please a mate( man usually- history shows this is true—) heck this more true for a woman! She has been sooo supressed through history that she has suppressed her true self— her sexuality— she looses depth and polarity— if she gives up her depests goals and meaning— everyday suffers.
She gets lost in tasks and duties—-don’t force the masculine to make the decisions-( which men have done forever— and a man wants. Almost Always someone to serve- and you put him first – you are thought as clingy— — a man ignores a woman
You don’t read— it is not easy for you. So a condensed version?( so you share something you never read?— but you slimed or condensed? Smh!)
Allot of gray areas in this book. Too many I think.
Aristotle.
He could have left everything out about women. STAY SINGLE AND HAPPY! They're never satisfied.
This is all bs. Stand by every mistake and decision you've ever made. Aside from that, read the Bible.
Love this. Is all this in the video from one book? Which book is it? Thank you

Thanks for making this video. I believe that some of the statements presented can be insightful. I personally like the "Live as if your father is dead". I say the following as a human with a penis. The statements which refer to women in this video I find to be simplified and could lead to toxic assumptions about relationships. Fundamentally, I think every human has both "masculine" and "feminine" elements, so biological sex does not fully determine how masculine or feminine someone is (though men tend to be more masculine for sure).
One example of a simplified statement is "11. What she wants is not what she says. Sometimes a woman will make a request of her man… not to get him to do something, but to see if he is so weak that he will do it…". This is a terribly toxic way to look at a relationship and an extremely slippery slope to some unconsensual situations. If anyone is not clearly communicating what they want, address that issue but don't assume to know what someone else is thinking. Trust me, it will end badly. Instead, read up on "passive communication" and save yourself and others a world of hurt.
So if you read this comment (thanks for taking the time), I'd suggest you take from the video what you like, but keep reflecting and learning from different people and different perspectives. Good luck exploring the truth my fellow youtube viewers!
Good advice, but misleading regarding (at least some types of) women. A bit old-fashioned (for the West), even misogynic and stereotypical: women don't make decisions, they don't mean what they say, etc.
Also, the advice equally applies to women, as I've lived through most of what the video is about, especially regarding purpose (as if women weren't supposed to aim for "divine" growth and professional and personal fulfilment).
