Descriptions:

In this talk, Eckhart speaks on a subject that nearly everyone can understand: our most cherished views of ourselves. Eckhart Tolle is a spiritual teacher and author, born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of 29 a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. He devoted the next several years to understanding, integrating, and deepening that transformation. With his international bestsellers, The Power of Now and A New Earth—translated into over 52 languages—he has introduced millions to the joy and freedom of living life in the present moment. The New York Times has described him as “the most popular spiritual author in the United States”, and Watkins Review has named him “the most spiritually influential person in the world.”

Eckhart’s profound, yet simple teachings have helped countless people around the globe experience a state of vibrantly alive inner peace in their daily lives. His teachings focus on awakening consciousness, which transcends ego and discursive thinking, and can be seen as the next step in human evolution. In the awakened state of presence, we discover what Eckhart describes as our essential identity—who we are beneath the surface—and its power for transforming our selves and our world.

  1. As you live more consciously, you no longer create challenges through negative reactivity. At least most challenges fall away.
When you live consciously, you no longer convert challenges and difficulties into unhappiness (or unhappy personality identity).
    Thanks Eckhart. ??⚽️??‍♂️?????

  2. I am life. I don't have a life.
    I'm manifestation of consciousness.
Your history leads you to conscious awakening.
    Thanks Eckhart. ?????‍♂️????

  3. If we are ever going to survive on this planet, we have to keep our egos in check. Presence is needed. Don't forget to mark a special day on your calendar: World Ego Awareness Day (WEAD) is on May 11th of this year, Namaste.

  4. My misery was unapparent to me until I had therapy and begun to dig deeper and discovered my unhappiness. I am in the constant checking my thoughts and feelings now. Knowing that my unhappiness is exterior to me… it’s not me that makes me unhappy. It is the circumstance in which I live. Thank you for your guidance and encouragement Eckhart.???

  5. Eckhart Tolle has given us much; however, there is more. Spinoza and Gurdjieff’s teachings give us keys how to awaken our intuitive mind to understand the nature of our ego, then freedom from ego is possible. WayofSpinoza

  6. Mind absolutely blown, "you don't have a life, you are life" and the analogy with states of matter and how that setting dissolves the hierarchy.

  7. "Looking for something or a reason to be unhappy" Social media and reviewer channels in a nutshell. They don't get it why things are the way they are.

  8. These teachings, meditation, yoga and awareness, I m 90% present most of the time. challenges are harder to stay present for me but I dont ruminate and build an exausting narative creating negative mental and emotional energy. Feel like I'm moving forward thank you Eckart.
