IDK thinking of peace at any price. There is a time to fight, to resist. My father never stood up for me or protected me from all manner of harm a young person could get into. He didn't see me or know me at all, assumed a lot, judged a lot. I had to learn later the hard way about my worthiness and my ability to choose my relationships and reactions. Looking back there are people I wish I had been strong enough, aware enough, to resist at the time. Now I'm having to learn restraint, coming full circle. Learning on your own is harder than having a family structure to guide you when young. I know a lot of people don't have that, but the ones who do tend to misjudge the ones who don't.

Thank you, Eckhart. Just as one unconscious person in a room can drag all the others into unconsciousness, just one conscious person in the room can lift up all the others to a higher state of consciousness. Wouldn't it be nice to have political leaders, prime ministers, presidents, movie actors. sports persons, media professionals, celebrities who are very conscious and present, so that an entire nation, the whole of humanity can rise up to that. Peace will be the only thing found then.

I can imagine normal people confused and distraught after one talk from Eckhart. I can feel myself as presence until I speak. Does anyone else feel like this?
