I really liked what you said; that God doesn't create junk. The reason is that everyone is precious in God's eyes, because he doesn't see things the way man does. Man sees only the outward appearance but God looks into a person's heart. It's sad when one is persecuted because of one's faith or beliefs. But as you said and what your mother told you; that it was important what you would put into your mind. So if you learned to develop strong faith and love for God that's what got you through those terrible ordeals. Your story is a remarkable one even though you were persecuted. What your persecutors didn't realize is that they made you strong. That sort of thing is a slap in their face because they didn't succeed in carrying out their plan.
