In a deeply personal and wide-ranging conversation, leadership expert Simon Sinek shares his own experience caring for his mental health as the world shut down. He discusses why we need to nurture friendships (in both good times and bad), explains why anyone can be a leader — and reveals the secret to discovering your “why” in life. 1. 2:20 what you should be doing
Don't fall out of your sleep patern don't go to bed late for no reason

Don't push things for other time to another and another day

Be more social talk to more people to help you

2:00 no crying alone talk to people when you have a tough times and them tell them to call you when they have tough times

  2. I watched this video with my team and we can all relate with every point. Thank you Simon and TED for sharing heartfelt information with the public.

  3. Everything he said is exactly my situation! it took this video and his words to let me know it is trauma & depression..
I ended up breaking down feeling the desperate helplessness I was swathed in….
What would Simon say to someone who cannot (for whatever circumstances they are right now in) afford even to be of service to another??

  4. Imagine pretending you're a rational human being and praising Alcoholics Anonymous whose only purpose to exist is to drive people to religion and stop thinking. It's an evil organization.

  5. I experience my trauma years later. It hits me like a ton of bricks. No Crying Alone! Excellent. Force Yourself to call friends and ask for help. When crisis hits you find out who your REAL friends are. And sometimes it SURPRISES you who shows up for you! How ARE You? Are You Ok? When they ask you THIS, they actually CARE about the answer?? Why are we friends? WOW. OR… somethings wrong. Something’s different… Your NOT the person I know… Say that to create an Environment in which they are willing to OPEN up to me…

  6. My gf dumped me earlier this year, and I don't feel like talking to anyone – when I'm productive, I'm extremely productive. When I'm unproductive, I'm very unproductive. Our elected leaders and their mainstream media mouthpieces antagonize and polarize, sowing seeds of distrust and hated towards war with the rising world powers and their old and new allies; that's how they cope.
