“For me, morning routine is hugely important. Meditation, exercising, prayer, journaling and writing down the dreams for my life as if they have already happening. Every day for years I did this practice, and it’s insane if you read my notes from 5 years ago.”

  1. It's funny when someone who married into wealth talks about how they did it all themselves. I'm sad so many women buy her BS.

  2. I love her style. She really speaks my language, especially when she speaks about her relationship with dad. It's hard to live big when you've been taught to be small.

  3. Well she could take her own advice. What degree does she have to give this advice. She lived her own lies with her divorce and not making her marriage work. She needed to make this work. Nothing's more important than relationship s. Not a fan

  4. Guess she has it all figured out. So nice of her to fill the rest of us in on how it’s done. ? Please. She’s nothing more than an attention seeking mean girl. She shares her curated imperfection and tries to be relatable (but then gaslights her audience saying she doesn’t care what anyone thinks). Unfortunately she’s working so hard to live up to some imaginary standard for herself that SHE can’t even show up in her own life. She’s not a role model. She’s doesn’t have any answers. She doesn’t even believe what she’s peddling. Honestly she’s plain ole vanilla. I feel sad that she seems hell-bent on being in the limelight instead of being ok without the attention. Unfortunately she seems to believe deep down that she is what she does & accomplishes in life. It doesn’t seem like she would ever be ok living a simple, peaceful existence and just being present as a woman and mother and partner. Sorry, lady, you’re not fooling me. But hey you get to choose how you live your life. I just don’t want whatever it is you’re selling.

  5. According to Rachel Hollis’s actions, not words, you find a man to pay for your business to get started, steal others people’s words and ideas, blame your staff for your mistakes, lie to your followers and then blame them for criticizing you when your lies are called out. Not exactly motivational to me.

  6. So sad that striving is now exalted in the midst of working through one's issues. This is replacing on set of problems for another and potentially worse. Why I say worse is first the cost of success this way. If you succeed when you are embracing striving then your success is only fleeting and ultimately blinding to all the problems it brings it's like a drug. Second is the collateral damage of marriage, children, and friends. I agree with finding your passion and moving toward it, but if it isn't God who brings the success then you are going to ultimately fail. And the Lie it's all on you separates you from God.

  7. POV I really like this side of Rachel Hollis. Much more impactful than some of the things she’s trying to do now. This is the reason why she became so influential, she really should consider this again.
