  1. I've never trusted these "scientists". Trick your brain this, trick your brain that, you can't trick your brain ! Instead learn to respect it and be honest with it and listen to it and make it your friend. Tricks don't work. "If you do this trick it will change your life". No it won't ! You'll just be looking for the new trick after the old one doesn't work. Feel free to correct me if you reach success through one of these tricks.

  2. Regular Show cartoon figured it out. They made up a High five ghost and he is musclemans best friend. muscleman is always confident and happy even though he has fat ugly and poor.

  3. That is true I AM suffering to fear, worry anxiety this block my nervous system to my stomach which can cause me to vomit, can not wat proper and on time..my mental mind block too I no energy no power Both to do and to think cause this issue bothered me a lot ..

  4. The only thing that I would disagree with is the part about wearing makeup. Not all of us put on makeup because we're trying to cover something up or hide. What if we're just colorful beings and enjoy it as a hobby because we're artists? It's self-expression it doesn't mean everyone is hiding or everyone's insecure where everyone is ashamed. Some people work with makeup as a career in artists use color for painting. It's fun and enjoyable. I get to choose the colors that go along with how I feel in the morning and they are happy colors. Just like picking out the colors of my clothes. Many of us who wear makeup also go several days without wearing makeup and are quite comfortable in both skins.

  5. 2 weeks into the High Five habit, got over my intial sceptism ( just experiment, explore). For me it is not habit, it is a solid yes to you, unconditional, look yourself in the eye, eyes, I remove my glasses. Sometimes I say something , sometimes I don't.. High 5 ! A yes to openness, a yes without a no..
    I've noticed that negative self beliefs receed, quieten down..for those moments, you open to the space that is here..
    A friend suggested adding, as I understand it, the Kiloby Inquiries version of the Hopononno prayer… which I've started playing around with:
    look yourself in the eyes…in the mirror, saying…

    Thank you for arising…

    I love you…

    stay as long as you like..
    High five!
    And really you don't need words or phrases, look yourself in the eye, really look
    High5!
    Seee where it goes, experiment, play…
    Personally I'm not a fan of 'being positive" see yourself and High 5 yourself, it isn't a habit, it is a recognition, have fun..

  6. Wow I do this all the time when I have to public speak and didn’t realize it was a “thing”. I’m going to do it more as I get terrified speaking in public – terrified and excited so I tell myself how excited I am and try to focus on that – thank you for reaffirming this

  7. You don't have to high5 yourself. Basically any victorious movement in front of the mirror will do it. And when I shout to the mirror "I can do it!", it is very powerful. I get goosebumps ???‍♀️
    P. S. I don't use makeup for "hiding". On the contrary – I use colours to "colour" my life and to make myself happy ???

    I had to realize I am enough…I am made in gods likeness…I have a perfect body to navigate myself thru the universe……I love myself….I love myself…..I love myself!!!!❤️

    Visualization – visualize your current position then a collage of pictures where you want to be when you will achieve your goal. The feelings you will have proud on yourself, content, peace,grateful, feeling of being helpful to someone .visualize the process of improving yourself, working more harder , sacrificing more sleep .. visualize how you want to spend this day completing your daily goals .
    Giving high five to yourself- you don't have to speak just simply give yourself a high five smile and say good things are going to happen to me today ..believe that there is a other person there at the other side of mirror encourage him like' hey sis don't look so glum it's okay atleast i am with you" forgive yourself .think you are worthy of all best things know it's difficult but i beleive in you…

    Act like person you want to become – work some little minutes extra, sacrifice half hour sleep more , remain more calm , be more patient, graceful ,mannerful, understanding warm , emotional , pure hearted person like taeyung. Slowly you will become one
