Mark Manson is a man who does show the dark side of the self-help industry. He leaves a mark with his words and gives a rather balanced view on the industry and life in general. He is real, raw and honest and that’s why I think you will love this video.

  1. Hey, I know you might be getting some hate right now, but I personally think you’re on the right track. I’ve loved Mark Manson’s brutal honesty for years, and it’s easy for some people to feel it’s a little TOO brutal in the beginning. Props to you— you’re taking action on a problem you see. Keep it up. That courage alone is more motivating than any 15-minute video could be. 🙂

  2. I have been stuck on IT for 25 years.. only realised 2 days ago that I NEEDED to stop…. I feel relieved and free now… they really get you caught up in it and keep you dreaming… come down to earth, feel your feet on the ground again…. get out of your head and into your body…. be human, NOT spiritual..

  3. Accept yourself totally and then just live your life. Grab whatever opportunities you can. Life will strengthen you through its troubles and challenges. You hardly need internet advice to become "stronger". Ironically, this too is internet advice ?.

  4. I am 22 years old student, and past two years I was really struggling. A year ago I started using Forwago, and their personalized plans helped me a lot. I eat healthier, even started to workout, it helped me build my self-confidence, and maybe the best thing I started my small online business. It is nothing special, but it is nice to earn some money. And I am still making the progress. Take care of yourself and start building the life of your dreams. Everybody is capable of achieving their dreams.

  5. I was really struggling with my self-confidence. The way I changed this is through trying to convince myself that I can do everything and making small things on my personal progress. Every little change you achieve will boost your confidence. Kind of a virtuous circle! The one thing that really helped me to do so was Forwago and I am so thankful because I found about it.

  6. I have changed my life over the years. 6 years ago I decided to change. I started listening to Les Brown someone who came from nothing. I came from nothing my parents didn't care for me or my sisters. I didn't know where my next meal was. Well now I have a successful art business, I own a beautiful car , truck, and home. I have a happy wife who tells me how I'm the same person but better. My wife in that time gave birth to my amazing son. So it's possible to change. It worked for me. I can't give this video a big enough of a thumbs down. Yes embarrass the struggle, but don't give up like this guy. He says the word fuck like it's empowering. This video is a lie.

  7. The problem with the self help industry is that too many people believe that simple participation will fix their lives. IE "I read a Tony Robbins book and all will improve." Robbins gives excellent advice at times. And I'm sure that if one had thousands of dollars to throw away his seminars would be a positive experience. But the root of self help as I tell my own subscribers is this. Self. Most intuitively know that they have to have a positive mindset, have to have good strategy to advance and have to use massive effort. The self help gurus may be helpful in some aspects of turning your life around. Some strategical methods. But if you are spending all of your time reading book after book and chasing these gurus all the time on YT or around the country (including me) then you will never be focused on the actual advancement part. I'm only small time but this is my constant advice–take what works and discard what doesn't. You shouldn't be spending thousands of dollars when the real origin of change is in the mirror. Hope that helps someone out there–Charles.

  8. How to stretch out 2 minutes worth of dialogue into 6. Just add some cheesy music and pause after every couple sentences for a long time
