I was miserable in my marriage until divorce was on the table. This in turn gave me the power to choose to stay, but on my terms. Through meditation, I changed myself. I didn't expect my husband to change too, and I was so pleasantly surprised when he did. Raising our own vibrations affects the vibrations of everyone around you. Anyway, we are so much happier now.
Aren't we talking about a person in coma?
I decided I could not when the verbal turned into physical. I did try to live with an unconscious person because there was glimmers of consciousness.
I'm disappointed in this answer good relationships and marriages are so important why couldn't you just say yes? People don't have to be on the same spiritual path to love honor and respect each other.
Why is the assumption that someone is not on the same spiritual path as one of his followers is abusive? Ridiculous

THE POWER OF SPIRITUAL "NO" by J.E. Ante.
Truthers
have given their power to create change in their world to the white
hats. Both the white hats and black hats are our teachers in the
classroom of life and are working together to create your reality. The
real power in life is to know thyself and create and visualize NOW is
meditation. So that which is greater than either the white hats or the
black hats is a Truther that has learned that they actually create their
own reality.
When
you add the power of "NO" in your creative meditations you now begin to
exceed the white and black hat teachers in your reality. Say "NO" to
each and every form of ignorance and lack in your life. Say "NO" to
anything and everything that you do not want to experience. Say "NO" to
each of your fears and especially the tiny fears of lack of confidences
in your own mind. Say "NO" to all things you do not want in your
reality. In this way you break down the walls of your prison and become
the creators of your own reality.
The
white hats are building a bigger prison of a Star Trek reality and
unlimited money and abundance. But make no mistake it is a bigger
prison reality. So the white hats are balancing the negative karma of
humans to build a greater container to contain them within the walls of
their prison. The Truthers have the ability to go beyond this reality
of the future. When 5G towers are seen to be bent like pretzels along
the roadsides and 5G Starlink satellites fall from the sky on top of
government buildings you will know a Truther that has learned to say
"NO" has awoken to a greater reality.
In
meditation say "NO" to any lack of abundance. Say "NO" to any form of
control and power over you. Say "NO" to all lack of wisdom and
understanding. Say "NO" to any fear in any form. Say "YES" to knowing
yourself in spirit as Soul. And bend a few 5G towers when you really

this content is shocking. It's a scam. It's just talking in essentialist language that makes you discount culture, class, anything weird and beautiful. It's a total dead end. Forget it. It's just feeding your anxiety. Go watch 80's action movies and be part of the actual world.
As long as I'm concerned, every spiritual master made his way alone.
Until reaching a path where one can live with anybody on planet it's not useful to have a partner either spiritual or non spiritual.
However once this path is reached there is no more use to have a partner.
It didn't react and surrendered many years, but her egoig totally unconscious behaviour even grown up so much. So why should I live like this? In this case we can choose .."should I stay or should I go..
Someone should create the Eckhart dating app.
This is the issue I'm faced with at the moment. It is not easy.

I have had several discussions with my Pyschologist about ending my relationship. I have mentioned the fear of being alone, fear of loss of security, fear the unknown – I mentioned I'm scared to leave the relationship for these reasons and haven't received much help. I received more help starting at 9:01 than I ever have paying for professional help.

My wife has cancer. I have been with her for over 30 years. She is going through a hard time right now. She is so real. It is moving to be with her.
I ask this question time and time again. Then I realise, I am just in my unconscious state hence the question pops up. I have to remind myself to come back to the now; to surrender every time.

To my experience, if you are not desperate enough, there is no meaning in trying to practice presence or spirituality in another person's unconsciousness and ignorance and abuse. There are many other healthier and less painful ways. You do not need to hit your head/soul to the wall of another, to transcend spiritually. My humble opinion.

A very interesting topic indeed. I think, it often happens that a person believes that they are in this situation, that they are the enlightened ones living with an unconscious, nonspiritual person, although it is actually the other way round. For instance, a person who is brainwashed by the christian church or conspiracy theories is absolutely convinced that they are the conscious ones living with an unconscious person. But, in fact, their partner is more awake than themselves, as they are not truely spiritual, just fallen under the spell of some brainwashing system.
I know some non spiritual people who you could say are pretty unconscious living in the material world but they’re still absolutely lovely people and very kind and understanding. It’s just how some people are (or aren’t).
