Storms come for all of us. This year a storm came for me that could have left me dead, both figuratively and literally. This year, I realized that storms come for all of us, and there are three type of people when they see that storm on the far horizon. 1) Those that run and hide from it and seek shelter. 2) Those that stand in opposition and embrace the coming storm. 3) Those that run into the storm. This is and active choice. So run into that storm, because no matter what you do, that storm is going to still hit you as hard as it can. Do not let it shake you, do not let the fear of what it is to deter you into becoming who you are supposed to be.
My dream is too own a small custom built house in the suburbs for me and the wife. Not going happen because house and land prices are too high. I quit my dream years ago because it will never happen.

I'm really happy and inspired by the comments here. I've never had social media until getting insta 2 years ago and realized my rationale for avoiding social media all those years was completely correct. It can be poisonous and change the reason you do things. Screw it. Live for you and those you love. Not for 'likes' and attention on social media. We will never be happy with a life that requires constant validation like that. Stay strong and do your best work in all your do. And don't compare to others. Compare to who you were yesterday and ask yourself if you are making things better.
Greater is HE that is in me, than he that comes up against me! Your joy is yours, fight for it. Giving up has never helped anyone to overcome or win. Great motivation! ??
