  1. I don't understand why would you want to prove to anyone that they are in fact creative? If they don't believe that, then so be it. There are people who are bursting with creativity and ideas and they need help with more practical things such as how to earn money from their art and creativity. Help people who are already creative and struggling to make ends meet and not those who work blue-collar jobs all their life and already make good money.

  2. Kelley is an icon in his field, IDEO has been helping to push the entire field of design for decades and the stories he tells are deep. No questions about that. But…

But with his "everyone can be creative" philosophy, he sounds like he has never heard of Dunning-Kruger effect. He might be helping a lot of people gain their creative confidence and bring some breath of fresh air into the rigid corporate environments. But he might also leave a lot of insufferable assholes behind him continuing his quest, making the lives of his own colleagues – professional designers – much worse.

I don't know what the ratio could be in reality, I just know Dunning-Kruger is as real as it gets.

  3. I am always not confident about my creativity. When I face a problem or less wide is when I do something about art like drawing, I don't know how to do to draw a picture beautifully, of course, I think I don't have an aptitude for it. Another day, I can't solve a problem in homework but my friend did it creatively, so I thought I don't have creativity from that day. Until now, I still think like that, I don't know how to make myself more creative and I am sad about that.
