  1. The second to last point is critical for me. I manage emails all day so I can’t focus on my deliverables. You inspired me to go into a Outlook and shut off all notifications. I’ve also set Skype to do not disturb. Time to get stuff done

  2. Great video. I'm a software developer, but my boss wants me to not only build the system, but test everything, configure and deploy everything, then be the customer service/support person too and respond to any customer service/support email at any time. It's too much and has me burned out. I can't do customer service and development at the same time. It's like they are asking me to do 4 people's jobs. I've talked to them about it, and they are just unwilling to change, so I'm starting to look for another job even though I really like the people at my current job. We are just chronically understaffed, and I didn't sign up to do 4 people's jobs.
