  1. You almost lost me at the beginning. The stuff about bacteria outnumbering our cells is true, but only because human cells vastly outsize bacteria cells. They probably only make up2-5% of your weight.
But I ended up learning something. Thank you for the video, and I'll be sure to eat lots more sauerkraut and asparagus. :3

  2. I have read the book. I have also read reviews of the book and discussed with other scientists that say it is mostly wrong; that he provides fraudulent advice with little substance behind them. And investigating his references they do not provide enough heft to substantiate many claims. 'Welcome to the Microbiome' and 'Follow Your Gut' would have been better choices in my opinion because they don't make such broad brush generalizations and claims. He is arguably out to make money more than truth since he markets and sells 'miracle' products like the Scholars Advantage Pack. Not endorsed by actual medical authorities: it is a lot of pseudoscience.

  3. I raise cattle and antibiotics DO NOT make then fatter. It helps them get over an illness just like how we use them. Also "organic" are the same to conventional food, i think this author is just trying to hard to get his point across.

  4. I took antibiotics for over a month several years ago. They make you feel depressed after a while, and I was already prone to severe anxiety/panic attacks, which I was managing with magnesium. Still, I needed those antibiotics, and I think they were crucial to my recovery.
This is because I then took some good probiotics (Udo's choice advanced adult, even though I'm not old), and most recently, Garden of Life Mood+ probiotics, and HOT DOG you guys it made a massive, utterly earth shaking difference in my mood, anxiety levels, everything.

So like… if you can, use antibiotics, clean out your gut, then fill it with the best bacteria money can buy, and it just might change your life.

No I'm not paid to advertise certain products either, just mentioning the stuff that worked for me so that someone else's suffering might be alleviated in some way.

  5. So, when scientist found that we got 99% smiliarity on DNA with chimp, which DNA is used to that research, DNA on bacteria (99%), or our own DNA (10%) ?
