  2. Yes.. Thank you for clarifying this. So rare that "people get it" for what it is.
We don't need the "ego"/person, it is not real, not an "entity" as it may seem.
We are so blessed to have you.

  3. "Self" esteem: which 'self'? Is this not what we are exploring? The key seems to be finding unconditioned love –period, which is to 'esteem' –to hold in high( enough) regard to lend compassion, kindness, friendliness to. To either or both my sense of 'small egoic self,' and/or greater Self –which is no self at all –aha!–and can only be esteemed or regarded highly by the local, physical, 3-dimensional self. I love this Stuffe –and appreciate you Eckhart, tremendously, and all those listening, asking these kinds of questions. I also found these quantum questions/Answers through periods of tremendous egoic suffering, suicidal depressions, many years ago… And moments of Grace, surrender portals to joyful Being. Blessings

  4. My experience with self-esteem, much of what ET, refers , it helps but is not a solution, if I want peace…This self sometimes ..or most of the time its so thick, so apparently true, that to disassociate from it seems very difficult….I ask , clarity, enlightenment, just happens?, ..one day puff! there you are??, seems to be the a never ending path…cooking it till its ready…maybe…

  5. Its hard for me to experience that separation from the storyline of ego because I am so entrenched in it. I identify too much with the doer and consequently I suffer everyday. I'm a scared, angry little boy even though I'm 41 years old. And really just started meditation, although I don't do it every day. But I feel like meditation will be a method that's going to help become more present not just during the moment of meditation, but hopefully the sense of presence will naturally flow into my everyday life. I'm hoping anyway. Still get extremely angry over small things. This rage is really scary, lol. It seems like it comes out of nowhere!

  6. I have a voice that tells me everyday, all day to be careful with money. It warns me about being ‘poor’ and destitute. The mad thing it that unless it burn through it like a total fool it will never happen. But my ‘little friend’ won’t leave me alone. So I sit in darkness and have the heating turned down in case I run out of money in 20 years when I am 80! Ha ha. It’s so draining to fight with myself everyday.

  7. When I was a child I would hear from others, primarily older relatives, "You can do better." My young mind translated that to "Nothing I do is good enough." While it did inspire me to do better in everything I did it still wasn't "enough." it took years, decades, in fact, for me to realize that my worth had nothing to do with the views of others. Awkenings I have had prove otherwise.

  8. THINK THINK DONT TURNOFF YOUR MIND YOU CANNOT YOUR LITERALLY SUPPRESSING YOUR INTELLIGENCE BELIEVE IN GOD DONT LISTEN TO THIS SHAM GUY WHO CLAIMS ENLIGHTENMENT JUST READ HIS BODY LANGUAGE

  9. ECHKART TOLLE YOU HAVE COME AT THE RIGHT TIME TO HELPING US ALL??THANK YOU AND BLESSINGS TO YOU FOREVER WITH HAPPY MOMENTS IN YOUR LIFE??‍♀️?‍♀️?????????????????

  10. I'm not a psychologist, but I would think that people who are self critical might have grown up with narcissistic parents. A couple of great channels to learn more about that are Dr. Ramani and Dr. Les Carter.

  11. I have this need to be loved and admired and when someone else comes along that is more cool I get jealous. Low self steem . I now realise… now how to get out of this horrible place?
