But yeah… I'm 19 have 2 years of experience in judo.. Will I ever be able to play in the Olympics… I guess never.. Well coz my age is gone.. No matter how much I push myself… I'll only reach a certain limit.. Nothing more… I'm not trying to be negative but just putting forward the facts… And all I've achieved in those 2 years officially is just a bronze medal on a district level..
Personally, I have these ups and downs. I have the dream to play in the NFL one day. I'm from Germany, only started playing 2 years ago and from these years, I got beat up every week, I was not strong enough. I thought about quitting…then our coach left the team and almost the hole team left with him. I stayed and started working every day, body and mind. Now, I was Defense Captain in the season, playing both sides (LB,RB). Maybe it was a sign that the coach left, for me as a “second“ chance, which I used. Right now, I am applying for a scholarship at highschools in America. No one, I know understands what the hell I am doing, no matter if they are “friends“, family, strangers they don't think I can make it, some mocking me or laughing behind my back about my dreams. Maybe I will not make it…maybe I will…who can know. At least I will not live with regret that I did not even try I love the videos and speeches from Fearless, giving me power when I am sometimes down. Thank you so much! I needed this video so much… I am a female physics undergrad in the UK, from Portugal, and being in an almost 100% male environment in such a challenging subject makes me doubt myself everyday, I came here and I face all the challenges despite homesickness, despite all the tears, sweat, long hours because I have a dream, I want to be a theoretical physicist, even though only 1% or less of people who want it, make it. People say I can't and sometimes I really feel as I can't but I wan't it so much I get so frustrated because I become divided… I needed this video so much… Team fearless, your videos keep me going, 2 years now that I watch your videos everyday! WHAT IF I COULD? You know what? I can and I'll prove it! I'll make my dreams a reality! Thank you so much Team Fearless <3
What if I could get rid of herniated lumbar disc pain forever. What if I can train hard enough to overcome asthma. What if I get accepted to the Police Academy at age 35 and probably be the oldest guy in my country to ever make it into the SWAT team by age 40? That's what that dreaming kid who's now full of regret is telling me since I know of Goggins. Even if I don't make it, I'm gonna try. There's still ground to take and demons to slay. After a lifetime of choosing comfort over challenge, I'm finally ready to move forward and burn my pain as fuel.
