Descriptions:

In this presentation given on retreat at Lake Louise, Canada, Eckhart considers how the gradual realization of Presence affects a person’s day-to-day experience. Touching on the inherent self-defeat of labeling oneself “enlightened,” how to cut through problems with “the sword of Presence,” and the end of suffering, Eckhart explains that most experiences of spiritual awakening don’t arrive in a single, decisive moment.

Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most original and inspiring spiritual teachers of our time. He travels and teaches throughout the world.

Eckhart is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition, but excludes none. His profound yet simple and practical teachings have helped thousands of people find inner peace, healing and greater fulfillment in their lives. At the core of his teachings lies the transformation of individual and collective human consciousness – a global spiritual awakening.

Eckhart Tolle is the author of The Power of Now, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, which has been translated into 32 languages and become one of the most influential spiritual books of our time.

In his most recent book, A New Earth, he shows how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.

  1. Both suffering and forgiveness are psychopathic… They exist because of evil, and forgiveness in particular, is precisely what FORCEs people to suffer… Do you understand? Everyone SUFFERS TORTURE on this planet, wouldn’t you agree? Stop making people think they should continue to suffer in order to be considered GOOD

  2. Dear Eckhart,
I wanted to see you live in Essen (Germany) this year. Unfortunately the cheapest ticket is 185 Euro, which I can not afford.
I am honestly very disappointed because I thought that your aim is to awake people throughout the whole society and not only the rich.
Could you please explain why a master like you who claims that money does not bring happiness sells tickets to such an unaffordable price?

  3. Experiencing much suffering will sometimes bring one to a place inside where they have a choice to be present and respond, rather then unconsciously react like we have as a child ? ??
    Thank goodness for suffering ?
    ??????

  4. Mr. Tolle, do you do what you do for self fulfillment or to maximize your physical wealth? Or do you actually want to help people’s soul awaken? And does an awakened soul actually care about others and their wellbeing? Or Does the awakened soul just stay in their state of awakeness so that the balance is not distributed? Hummm?

  5. Sending love to you from Syria ….I am meeting you always in the dimention of our true nature …our true being which is the field of pure love and consciousness but I hope also to meet you in the physical world one day ….the only truth that there Is is the one pure Consciousness which is our essence and the essence of all one life

  6. In 7 minutes will be my birthday. This week has been one of the most difficult yet awakening times in my life. I get it! I attribute a lot of it to you, your teachings, your insights, and your amazing way of describing where I am today. Danke
