In 2019, I completed my second half of sophomore year and began my third year in college. I went back to my home country for the first time in 15 years and at the least, it was an emotional and wonderful experience. I realized my worth and cut all ties with my "fwb" situation and have remained single now, for just over a year. I turned 21. My circle of friends has gotten smaller, and I only had one friend come over for my annual friendsgiving. I wish I had more money, but I'm actively sending out my resume for different jobs. I learned to love mornings. I became strong again, and people rely on me for emotional stability and come to me for advice. I listened more. I accepted my family and have become more thankful for their sacrifices rather than be bitter about their inflexibility to change. I went on a school retreat and found out I have so much love and generosity to give and I should never feel bad about it. I found out people I barely knew loved me. I have hugged more people in 2019 than in all previous years- and I will continue to hug even more people in 2020. I will only spread love and kindness to everyone around me. My intentions are going to be pure. I will take care of myself when the semester gets rough, and be present with my friends. I will let others know what I think only when they need to hear it. I will speak when it is right and it needs to be said, no thoughtless chatter. I volunteered for the homeless in 2019 and in 2020, I am going to Philadelphia and Ukraine for service trips with my school regarding homelessness. God Bless everyone here and their dreams and wishes for 2020. With God's grace, you will achieve everything you deserve in 2020! Be clear, be honest, and be kind <3
