  1. Well said.
Our imagination about the current moment is the only thing that matters.
Maybe it's the cause of why some people are happy and the others aren't. Just be in the present moment and happiness, joy and stillness will be given to you.

  2. During his last few years I acumulated so much knowledge And starting waking up spiritually but I still have some kind of probably subconscious resistance to really let knowledge in and really change my life .. Like what is happening is I’m constantly shifting in an out..I Really need help how to do relese of programs,my wrong self image, past and wrong thinking..

  3. so eckhart your saying ego is identification with thought and emotions so your basically telling us not to believe in our mind and emotions this is pure evil

  4. I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:5)
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. (Psalms 51:1-4)

  5. You know it can be so easy to over-estimate how far you’ve come in your awakening journey. Just because I can focus pretty well on the present moment in my regular sitting meditations, I thought for a while that this teaching on “the voice in your head” in particular wasn’t that relatable any more. Well, I was wrong. I’ve just realized that this recurring irritation that arose in me on weekends was definitely out of unwitnessed thoughts. So was my indecision about big and small matters. How amazing Eckhart is telling things that sound right on the nose in my situation.
