  1. 3 Ways to listen better
    1. Balls – Balls help you listen. Fact.
    2. Try pay attention – paying attention to sounds will help you listen.
    3. Hearing aids – Do I even need to point out the obvious???

  2. 3 minutes of silence,
the mixer, how many channels, sound time space correlation
savoring, mundane sounds, a joyful perspective
    listening positions:
    – active | passive
    – reductive | expansive

    – critical | empathetic

    RASA (essence, juice sanskrit)
    R Receive
    A Appreciate
    S Summarize
    A Ask

A world of connection, understanding and peace

  3. i havent been social in 10+yrs just listenin to music & watching movies mainly is only thing im listenin to sometimes i struggle to understand what someone at work is explainning to me & to put there words into picture i understand
is that 1 thing im not doin enough of is social interaction?

another reason y i dont like reading books so many words i gotta put into picture in my head is quite slow

im weird in some cases in understandin some things
listening can be a issue at times especially when someone explains something im not to sure of at times
& id need them to simplify whats been explained or i look for a way to simplify whats been said coz im scared to ask again & again

coz most times im thinking to myself in my own head i guess has slowed me down alittle

  4. Seriously. Let’s make this happen.
If anyone here has any power at all in school systems or government or education, get a conversation started with your peers and see what can be done.
Everyone else, kids, young adults, parents—
Kids, you are the next generation. You’re inheriting the whole world when you grow up. Just three minutes a day, make it a game. See what kind of boarder line superpower skill your generation can develop.
Young adults. This is life, this is it. I know you feel lonely, I know you feel out of place and misunderstood. If I may be so bold, I think we all feel that way, deep down. So, why not connect?
Parents, teach your kids. Help them grow. Equip them for the best life they can live. This is important. So important. ❤️

  5. it works!!! I tried to listen to usual videos without the practice. Therefore i started using music (is interrupted a speaker) and i a bit some was listening that he was trying to say. Especially i think it isn't possible but… Omg. My listening ramp up.

  6. I really love the exercises to help improve listening. That being said, I know that some neurodivergent people struggle with taking in and digesting sound, leading to overstimulation and anxiety. It's important to note that these sorts of exercises might not work for everyone.

  7. I am going to go apeshit, I am way to neurodivergent for this talk. I am going to go insane if I have to listen to crowded rooms for one more second. How am I suppose to listen if I am shutting down because im over stimulated

  8. After watching this video, I agree that someone's listening skill is something we need to appreciate. Although listening feels easy, being able to focus on what the other person is saying or just hearing the voices of the environment around us is not a simple matter. As Julian said "conscious listening creates understanding" makes me believe that listening can prevent bad things from happening. Believe it or not, by listening we can become more patient and less selfish people.
