  1. Leadership in a small organization like the one that I currently work in is more of a monarchy controlled by one individual who essentially rules with an iron fist and micro- management style. As one her supervisors I have quickly recognized that this person is feared and not respected or liked. She promotes and atmosphere of polarization between potentially effective supervisors and their employees. My style doesn't fit her style and being a true dictator will only have your managers, supervisors, and directors loathe you and this kills morale down the work chain. Employee retention is poor with this organization and attraction is killed by the knowledge in the community specifically composed of healthcare and mental health workers of this damaging management style that has been allowed to fester like a cancer in this organization. I neither like, respect nor loathe this individual as this is a waste of energy on my behalf.

  2. I believe Transactional and transformational leadership is essential in business depending on the situation faced. Some situations can only be solved with either transformation or transactional.

  3. One of the types of leadership I have used is to the ones that need lesser supervision, I learned the aspects of the job hands on, then gave the information to other employees in how to perform the job with little words but all the information to do the job to the best of my knowledge. My question is how to transfer information informally with good, and accurate type of speakink

  4. In my opinion, the key ingredients to be an effective leader is to develop the qualities like Approachable, Trustworthy, Honesty and Integrity, Leading by example and last but not the least Taking ownership.
A leader should make his people think and act for themselves just by guiding from behind as and when required.

Folks, who and all with me on the above?

  5. Thank you Brian I am so inspired by your consistency to keep going and serving. I must have listened to the Psychology Of Selling 50 + xs. One leadership tool I use is the explore what my people believe and what beliefs they can develop to drive themselves more confidently to do the actions to achieve their goals

  6. Situation depicts different leadership
    styles

But the key is firt use the my communication skil-
Active or passive, which will lead you to
Analyze the project team as group and individual. Then custom your style to the project and team need.
Fundamentally , a great leader is an adaptive leader

  7. Thank you for such a short and yet concise and complete session.
I've just discovered that I've been adopting the transformational style without knowing much about this theory and I've just found a name to it ?

  8. Sitting and reading from a board or paper over camera, nice words however often times the gist and main pints in each style overlaps with others, repeating same thing five times only relying on change of terminology. That's all.
