For many people, just hearing the term “public speaking” can instantly drive fear into their minds. A fear of public speaking is one of the most common phobias in the entire world, but unlike other fears, it can sometimes be one of the hardest to avoid.
In this talk from Mindvalley University in Pula, Croatia 2019, Eric Edmeades teaches us techniques to become a world-class public speaker.

My former boss told me….to make sure your audience wanna listen to you talk….please stick with WIMBY/A…What is in it (talk) benefiting for you (audience)….ERIC EDMEADES you nailed it…1000%…I benefit from your talk…This is interesting and so informative….Thank you MindValley and Eric..
Everyone knows everything
Question … I heard you say you have to be authentic ie no "stuff" and to use a bullet point story journal. Can going through the emotion of your personal stories in private act to clear out "stuff" so you can bring yourself to a talk more fully?
Wow!!! Thank you Eric. My interest in public speaking is being heightened. I was spellbound by your presentation. I have a story that I will tell. Thank you for stirring that desire … that will one day be fanned into flame. Keep UP this great work.
I've watched Eric for three hours for the first time, and didn't move from my chair !!!!!! Brilliant, this is the way, thanks for these videos, I'll go on watching (I'm visual indeed jaja), and learning, amazing speaker !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could someone show me an example of a story journal?
Horribe talk.
The first one talk that l believe created a furore and caught the attention of the world in history was that of Mark Antony!

Blessed to be here ??❤️?✌️?
Grateful
very educating ,I am hoping I will be able to practice
Thank you?. "Nervousness is excitement with anticipation of a negative outcome "
I really started to like this guy too. I didn’t realize he was so gullible. Oh well. Next.
Its the technicality versus the emotions that are evoked to draw in those listening by the storyteller
Really good
There’s a lot of him telling us how great he is. Is that really important? Is the reason for all of that just to fill in more time, as opposed to delivering a 20 minute presentation.
Eric is a phenomenal speaker!
For a professional speaker, continuously asking the audience, “does this make sense?” doesn’t make sense.
Eric is amazing and gives great information on speaking
Practice your story, not your presentation.
??❤️???
So it's okay to include someones else's personal information in your own stories?lol. (1:23:45)

??? had fun watching Eric talking the way Tony Robbins does????how this speech helped me finalize my work. I've been confused between two niches, while watching this, I was able to fuse them and I feel really good now. Most importantly, I don't need to write my stories (no longer "a story")? thank you so much Eric ?
