Description: There are three key concepts I learned from Jim Rohn that have changed my life and my business.

1. For things to change, you have to change. For things to get better, you have to get better.
It is not other things that need to change; it’s you. Once you start to explore your own personal growth, you can take control of your life. And it works on prospects too. If you tell prospects that for things to change, you have to change, prospects will agree with you and get ready to get going.

2. Success isn’t something you pursue; it’s something you attract by the person you become.
You don’t have to chase and purse people or things to get success. You need to become more attractive in business and everything else will start falling into place. People will be attracted to you. You will attract success instead of having to pursue success.

3. Formal education will make you a living and you’ll get a paycheck. Self-education will make you a fortune.
If you stop growing, you start dying. So, you need to continue your growth pattern after formal education. Read a book. Read lots of books. Develop a habit of continuing your education through reading, seminars, events, etc. Self-education is you taking charge of your life and continuously improving your skills.

These are the three concepts that changed my Network Marketing career and helped lead me to success in life and business. My hope is that they help you too.

  1. I have a question. I was in a direct sales/mlm company for almost 10 years and it begun only shortly before that. they always had a great comp plan, paid on customers a high percentage to those who got the accounts vs paying higher amounts to upline but matched. it was always residucal, true passive income. only a few months ago, all of a sudden they changed the rules. You are required to get a X number of customers per every three month period or get a lead for larger accounts for them to close.  Our market has not been very competitive in the past 2-3 years in my region, not sure what it is elsewhere in the US but it made it almost imposible. most people I talked to in my area lost 60-90 percent of the cusomters they had prior to that because of this. but not only do you have quotas , they deactivate your dupilicated site and you have to call to leave it up and get a 30 day  grace period to do it for the previous quarter to stay active. if you are not active you don't get paid on your accounts that are still going.for the first 9 years they had been completely the opposite.  Could this be a sign the company Is in severe trouble? because if you don't get the customers in the 30 days they shut you down completely.  it seem very harsh .That does not seem like  an actual residual, but more of a job. What could this mean?
