After growing up hearing stories of service from his grandfather and uncles, Brian Mancini joined the military two weeks after he got out of high school. Six months into his second tour in Baghdad, Brian was hit by a roadside bomb and medically discharged after nearly 13 years of service. He’s on the mend from his physical injuries but still struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder, a condition that affects one in every five military personnel returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.   2. More veteran deaths from suicide(approx 349) than combat in 2012.
    How will this issue affect american society?? We're going
    to find out. We'll be dealing with this for a looooong time.
    Killing affects the killer as much as the killed.

  8. My husband was in OIF/OEF and I would have to agree on the trickle effect. It is very hard to deal with and understand, and it is like a battle of will to stay and fix the problem head on. I have been at it for ten years, and took a lot of work on my part, not only in our marriage and life, but dealing with the VA to actually treat the problem as well. The best advocate for these heroes returning home are their families, most of the time they cannot advocate for their own mental health. I was married to my husband for six months before he was deployed, but I would never give up fighting for the man that I love. I want to say thank you for your service to our country and tell you to stay strong.

  11. I have all the same symptoms and have Huntington's Disease… if you care you will look it up and see and understand just how bad H.D really is. I took the time to watch and learn from this video, you people should learn what this spreading fatal brain disease and neurological disorder is also. It's like having Parkinson's, Dementia, and ADD/ADHD all in one disease that will always bet worse!! no cure yet

I have post traumatic stress disorder and the doctor gave me 9 months off work to get better then I went back to work and got a month off again now they are thinking of laying me off or firing me is that call helping me or making it worse for me they post all these things that they can help you and get help but when I try to get help they go against me and want to fire me from work I feel like I'm being destroyed day by day.
