In the original version David Goggin said stop listening to people that call you nigger, fat , gay, etc. Why did they edit the “N word? He was being called that everyday all day. The KKK leader son sat behind him daily in school so you can image how much his life was a living hell. Nobody in that town would help him. No adults told their children to stop calling him a N” word. So that’s why he made the comment “I had to save myself, because no one else was coming to save me. Those white racist kids tried to destroy David Goggin but instead God turned their evil words to create a BEAST!!! Now they look up to him trying to wonder how he did it? I bet they won’t admit it but some of them watch his videos for motivation & inspiration. Another thing all those records he set, not ONe of them will ever be able to break ALL of them . Abusive father caused me to run to food
I went through counseling.
Mentally healed myself.
Lost 150 lbs.

Currently down 25 lbs.
It took 3 years to snap out of that deep depression that was caused by open scars and fresh wounds. In that time I had an emergency gallbladder removal and two herniated spinal disc repaired. All the while I was waiting for someone to pull me out of it. Nobody is going to hold your hand! I have a lot of people cheering from the sidelines, but ultimately I'm responsible for my mental and physical health. I get up every day and fight PTSD, depression, and anxiety… and I win. I win the moment I step in that gym cause I know I did what had to be done.
Know that you are not alone in this fight, but also know that you are the one who decides to get up! Keep focus and win each day that you face!
By walking along a road, if a person sees a small stone and bends to pick it up and hold a single stone in hand, it gives worth to have his strength where there are thousands of people who are not able to either bend themselves or to pick up a single stone in hand even. Do believe in what is given to us, is not with everyone in the whole world and never regret to have less or more but be thankful for a blessing of strength, which is the only tool to attain what one wishes in life always.

I stopped listening to music in the gym when I discovered this video. Now I listen to this video every single time I work out. And trust me, nothing kicks me harder in the face that those sincere words.
At least when I sweat people can’t tell that I’m crying, but those are tears of strength, not weakness.
