  • Great idea 👍🏼 but in terms of relocating for one month to a different part of the world each year, how would that work? Im guessing we would have to pay for that at our will?!
I would love to join something like this for sure.

  • I love all the ideas but there's no need to sugar-coat all the videos with inspirational music or imagery that doesn't actually help convey the message any better. It feels like you're trying to create emotional charge to make us believe or agree with you just like movies do.

I'd rather see videos with plain voice, and visual aids like logic trees edited in when necessary. Please don't become cinema.

  • Vishen, your passion for life is infectious! I just love how you keep reinventing and creating. We are constantly being shown that the ‘old’ ways of living life are no longer working, for ourselves as individuals or for us as a global community. I am in awe of what you and you amazing teams keep bringing to this game of life – gratitude and blessings to you all, you are truly shaping our future. xx

  • The 170th like is from me, a student of the Mind Valley Academy.. The vision for this University is very inspiring… I would love to be a part of it.

  • I've been making a list of the things they don't teach you at school. They don't teach you how to love somebody. They don't teach you how to be famous. They don't teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don't teach you how to walk away from someone you don't love any longer. They don't teach you how to know what's going on in someone else's mind. They don't teach you what to say to someone who's dying. They don't teach you anything worth knowing.

  • I remember in the 70's girls used to have home ec where we learned how to cook, I attended an all girl's school so I don't know what the boys learned. I went to college at age 38, it was a three year program, then I went on to university for a term and took Women's Studies which was good. I wish that high school students would be taught this way again and college students should learn about how to manage their money, look for a house, parenting classes, how to fix car or things in their home etc.

  • I have 1 problem with this idea.
Most people go to college when they are young, single and either live with parents or have no liability. I was 17 when I started my college and had no expenses and didn't need to provide for my living. The older you get the more responsibility you get, such as family, kids. When you have family and kids you must provide for them and you have to get a job. Once you have a job not only you can't take a month vacation because most American companies only give you 2 weeks and that is after a certain amount of years worked there, but also you can't afford to take a month of because you need to feed kids. So I have no idea where I am supposed to get the money and time to go hell knows where for an entire month and leave my family broke and stranded….????

  • That’s funny, my school was just placed on the Schools to Watch list in San Diego County for our dedication in preparing students to be lifelong learners ready for college, career, and citizenship. We just enjoyed an evening of fun sharing ideas about science and technology which included a visit from an engineer from NASA as well as an astronomer on our campus. We work daily to investigate science and engineering concepts to solve real world problems. In spite of Vishen stating that teachers are teaching “things that are not worth knowing”, the reality is that there are MANY schools who are using modern teaching strategies proven to help students succeed and retain information quicker and also help them to use skills taught to make the world a better place. The reason I am able to do this is BECAUSE of the four year training I received that I am truly grateful for that led me to LOVE being a classroom teacher and touching the lives of students and their families every day when I go to work. I have been provided updated training EVERY year for the last eighteen years to improve my own skills. Vishen might want to do a little more research at least across the U.S. before he makes blanket statements that the work being done by thousands of dedicated teachers is somehow irrelevant because it doesn’t fit into his “hack”. Sometimes there are things in life that can’t be “hacked”. Not everything worth learning in life can happen in an instant. There is nothing wrong with having a new idea or way of learning within a different system that could be investigated, but does he need to be consistently arrogant in putting down the work of others who are actually doing things that ARE successful when he hasn’t even proven his concept of this type of university yet? Education is changing all across the U.S. It seems Vishen hasn’t bothered to look at any of the schools where this is already happening. I’ve gotta go now- time for a live stream math lesson with my students from the comfort of my living room that will later be viewed by students around the world.
😁👍🏼. (Apparently my four year degree hasn’t done me any harm.)

  • Your ideas are amazing…! I had been following you since an year and I always find u coming up with an extraordinary idea but I'm a 17 year old from India….I can no way join MindValley University but I'm really really inspired by your idea and this is not just my problem this is a lot of people's problem across the world what do I do?

  • Great idea sir, few month a go I think about this type of education system, if this type of educations are come in our society and parents are adopt it then sir, all students are learn so much and creat unbelievable work in all field all arounds the world….

  • It sounds amazing, but how expensive is it and what if someone messed up his grades in high school because he didn’t wanted to go to university, but now he became really interested? (I don’t really know the rules, etc.) It might be a stupid question 😅
