  • It's interesting. I've learned many, perhaps most, live under the illusion they are not morally accountable to the Creator, who is infinitely holy; and just. However, they are accountable, which makes the question of marriage less of a casual choice.

Sure, one can remain single, but—and this isn't the only requirement, but an important one, nonetheless—each person will give an account to God for deeds done within the body. The gate is narrow which leads to life, and few there are who find it.

As I share this, please keep in mind that scoffers don't do well with denial, even in an earthly court. How much less when trying to justify oneself before an infinitely holy and just God?

"I don't believe I raped that woman. I'm leaving!" How long before the bailiff tackles and cuffs him? It doesn't matter what one believes. What matters is whether or not what one believes is actually true.

So, I digress. Having left a trail of sexual immorality all up in my past … that past, present and future was all forgiven when I placed my full weight and trust into and onto the finished works of Jesus Christ.

Marriage was a silly idea when I wasn't considering the reality of my ultimate accountability to the LORD.

However, God has a way of opening one's eyes if & when one responds to the Father's drawing to the Son. And when those eyes are opened, I can say it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (for those who are not in faith and a new creation.)

Who would want to get married, apart from the reality of being accountable to God? Why deal with all the mess? I'd rather—as I proved in the past—grab a steak at the club, a dozen cold ones, flaming shots on the side, find me in-da-club bumpin' … and scope out which chick was possibly going home with me.

Marriage makes little sense to any who were like me, especially men. Unless that is, they see reality for what it actually is and understand:

"Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, because He has fixed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness through a Man whom He has appointed, having furnished proof to all men by raising Him from the dead.” —Acts 17:30-31 ###

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God." —1 Corinthians 6:9-10

  • So she is a life coach but the first 2 piece of advice she gives u is 1. Find an entrepreneur to have a relationship and 2. Marriage is great…. oh man TERRIBLE ADVICE

  • First of all, you don’t know how powerful you are for sharing this video…….. thank you….

Ok with that said, This lady is not telling the truth…… atleast not the whole truth….. “if at any point this is not working” yeah fvcking right…… also you have to keep in mind…….

    1. What does her husband do for a living? She’s a “life coach” that’s not a stable job….what’s the financial foundation…..

    2. The modern man doesn’t NEED marriage…

    3. Analytical thinkers have a hard time connecting with people because we analyze everything and we don’t know how to not have a final answer……

    4. The modern man doesn’t trust the modern woman …….

    5. The only thing that can really bring our spirits back to earth is having a daughter but in order to have a daughter , you need to impregnate a woman so……. 😭

    6. I personally believe the modern man was raised to respect women a bit too much….. we were raised by our moms perspective more than our dads….

    7. Entrepreneurs are most effective when they are on the go….. marriage typically keeps you home….. ALOT …. which kills your mojo

    Also, she has a short haircut….. there’s something that she’s not saying….

I truly respect her for being present but I don’t totally believe her…..

  • You nailed the marriage/couple thing real well. I feel the same way after having spent 20 years with a great woman, ..but the wrong one for me. I thought I'd never get in a relationship again but with time, I realize I want an independent companion to share life's adventure, someone to take care of and learn from. Thanks for the extra footage, great video!

  • I really love the chemistry between you too and enjoyed Brooke’s perspectives. Thanks for sharing and putting out great content Ryan!
